But it keeps track
Can't turn my back
Or I've lost seconds maybe minutes
Days move too fast
Nothing seems to last
Youth has expired
So times foot is off the brake
It used to move slow
When life was a question
I didn't know the answer to
But since I've grown
Mysteries are now known
And lights are always green
Life waits for no one
Time keeps ticking
Don't blink now
Just keep reminiscing
It's over in a flash
Like the 60 yard dash
Hopefully it won't crash
And allow me to make a splash
And leave my mark on this world
It's only a matter of time...
